Thursday, May 20th, 2010Reliance Industries has shut crude oil and gas production from its Krishna Godavari basin MA fields in the Bay of Bengal as a precautionary measure to avoid damage from tropical cyclone ‘Laila’. The company shut oil and gas production from the MA field lying in prolific KG-D6 block on Tuesday, a source in know of the development said. Gas production from the Dhirubhai-1 and 3 fields was, however, not affected.
