Before trying any software, contact your service provider for unlock code.Most of the providers provide that for free
- Download a software for generating the unlocking code. Software will be available as free on some websites and some pay websites will support if things go wrong.

- Using the software you have downloaded, enter in your Manufacturer ( Nokia), and sliding the card out. Put the battery back in and power the phone on.
