VirtualRadio brings Web radio stations to your mobile phone: Turn your mobile phone into a Web radio player and enjoy music, talk and news from all over the world!
VirtualRadio connects to the Internet through your mobile phone operator’s network and links to more than 1′500 radio stations from all over the world.
If you have a modern phone, you can directly connect to the Internet by using Wi-fi (WLAN or hotspots) and you can hear radio without being charged by your mobile phone operator.
Click and Play!
VirtualRadio is based on one single basic functionality: playing a given set of Internet radio channels. Just start up the player and it immediately starts playing audio. There is no need to define play lists or find and type in URL’s.
All you have to do is select from a given set of channels: Click and play! It’s easy!
Radio Stations
Continually new radios stations will be added to VirtualRadio. If you can not find your preferred radio station among the selected stations, tell them! We are more than happy to include your preferred radio station into VirtualRadio!
System Requirements – Supported Phone Types
VirtualRadio PRO
VirtualRadio PRO contains the low AND high bandwidth streams. VirtualRadio PRO runs perfectly on Smartphones with Symbian Operating System like Nokia S60 phones, SonyEricsson UIQ, Motorola, Siemens SX1, BenQ, Arima and Sendo X.
Connection to the Internet through your operator’s network
If you are not using Wi-fi (or have an older phone which does not support Wi-fi), you will need to have a working Internet connection from your mobile phone to your mobile phone operator’s network. Many operators configure your phone automatically. If not, you will have to define the Access Point yourself. Rather use an “Internet” than a “WAP” Access Point. If in doubt ask your operator!
VirtualRadio is a typical 3G application, but it can also be used on GPRS and EDGE networks.
